Spell with Flickr

• Spell with Flickr is a small program that lets you type in whatever you want, then goes to flickr and grabs pictures for each an every letter! It also allows you to change the images that you see, so you can find better images for your word or phrase!
• When you're happy with how the final message looks, Spell with Flickr even provides HTML code you can grab to paste the picture message on your own site.

Colr Pickr

• This tool has an interface that will look familiar to anyone who's spent a couple of afternoons designing user interfaces on the web. The Colr Pickr looks like a regular HTML color picker, but, of course, it wouldn't be listed here if that's all it was. Select a color from the color wheel and the Colr Pickr loads a selection of twelve photos from Flickr that best match your selected color. There's a slider to adjust the black levels in the color wheels.
• Also, at the bottom of the page, you can load specific sets of photos that match particular themes. Choices like "doors and windows," "crayon box" and "urban decay" produce some interesting color combinations.

Captioner!

• Created by a mysterious individual named Ryan from Shadydentist, the mashup Captioner! lets you add comical speech balloons to any Flickr photo. You enter in the URL of the photo you want to "enhance", then type in some text and drag the balloons to the most appropriate locations on the photo.

• Tagnautica is an experimental navigation tool built to explore the space of related Flickr tags.

Flappr

• Flappr performs all of the familiar tasks available on Flickr.com, except it lets you do everything in one window without refreshing the browser. Search by tag and you'll see a list of photo thumbnails fill out the results. Click on a thumbnail and the photo loads into the right side of the window. Underneath the photo are small windows containing information about the photographer, that photographer's most common tags, and links to their most recent photos.
